Jordan- PM honors winners of the 2016 Civil Service Ideal Employee Award


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Sept. 25 (Petra)-- The Civil Service Bureau, on Monday, honored winners of the 2016 Civil Service Ideal Employee Award, during a ceremony at the Royal Cultural Center, attended by Prime Minister Hani al-Mulqi, a number of ministers and other senior officials.

The award aims at creating an atmosphere of competitiveness at governmental institutions, to spearhead employees to further get involved in official and unofficial activities and to boost productivity.

The Ideal Civil Service Employee Award is annually given to 20 employees under a Prime Ministry decision.

The Cabinet's decision in announcing the winning employees, who are chosen by the ideal employee committee, is based on a recommendation from the Civil Service Council.

The winners will be granted five annual increases as of December 31, 2016.
