Light shed on Kuwait support for youth at Arab activity

CAIRO, Sept 17 (KUNA) -- Dr. Sanaa Al-Asfour, Chair of the Arab Youth Council for Integrated Development, on Sunday noted that the State of Kuwait significantly supports the young citizens.
In remarks to KUNA on occasion of launching the "ideal youngman initiative" by the council, she has affirmed that the Kuwaiti State spares no effort in supporting the youth and furnishing this segment of the society with best possible services and facilities.
Al-Asfour, the state of Kuwaiti coordinator at the initiative launch ceremony, said that the Kuwaiti fencing champion, Tareq Al-Gallaf, was among those who were honored during the ceremony.
She praised Al-Gallaf's high ethics and sports principles, admiring his address to the ceremony about compassion, peace and Arab unity.
Kuwaiti inventor Hawraa Al-Gallaf was also among the honorees.
The initiative that was launched with Arab League's sponsorship drew 300 young people from 20 Arab countries. Up to 27 ones were honored including Al-Gallaf, a famous Kuwaiti fencer. (end) mfm.rk
