Arab League to participate in key UNGA meetings


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Cairo, Sept 16 (Petra) –– Arab League Secretary General Ahmad Aboul Ghait will take part in high level meetings due to be held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.

Arab league spokesman, Mahmoud Afifi, said Aboul Ghait will join meetings that will tackle issues of importance to the league's members, including political and economic development priorities and Libya, as well as a ministerial meeting on Syria and Iraq that will be organised by the European Union and a meeting on finances to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
