Jordan: Security court issues verdicts in several terror cases
AMMAN, 14th September, 2017 (WAM) -- The State Security Court of Jordan on Wednesday issued verdicts in cases against seventeen defendants, convicting them of attempting to join terrorist organisations including Daesh and Al Nusra, and promoting the ideology of a terrorist group.
According to the Jordan News Agency, the sentences ranged between 3-15 year prison terms with hard labour. The court also acquitted two defendants of promoting the ideology a terrorist group.
