AMMAN — UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Priyanka Chopra concluded a two-day visit to Jordan during which she met with Syrian children, youths and families who fled their country to Jordan.

The ambassador visited Makani centres in Jordan that allow vulnerable children to access free learning support, psychosocial support and life skills training. She also visited the Zaatri refugee camp and met with students at a school supported by UNICEF.

Syria's neighbouring countries host more than 5 million Syrian refugees including 2.5 million children who need humanitarian assistance.
