Economic cooperation between Jordan and Sweden discussed


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Sept. 13 (Petra)--Jordan Businessmen Association ( JBA) Board on Wednesday discussed with Swedish Ambassador to Jordan Erik Ullenhag, means to strengthen economic ties between the two countries.

The two sides also discussed cooperation in areas related to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises as well as the exchange of visits of delegations in the sectors of education, tourism, vocational training and hotels.

President of the JBA Hamdi Tabaa' reviewed the role of the association in attracting foreign investments into the Kingdom through joint business councils.

Trade exchange between Jordan and Sweden stood at $69 million in 2016 including $3.2 million as Jordanian exports.
