Kuwait- Morocco nabs 2 extortioners


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Sept 11: The security authorities in Morocco have taken into custody two of its citizens after a Kuwaiti filed a complaint through his lawyer Ali Al-Kandari accusing them of extorting money, reports Al- Anba daily.

Attorney Al-Kandari said the Moroccan judiciary is interrogating the suspects and both men are expected to be referred for a trial. Al-Kandari said he will leave for Morocco to follow up the investigations until the trial is set. He noted, there is no fundamental difference between the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco and Kuwaiti laws in crimes of extorting money.
