Jordan- Rise in temperatures today, dry conditions until Monday


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman. Sept. 9 (Petra) -- Temperatures, on Saturday, are set to rise by six to eight degrees above their annual average, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).

A JMD report said dry and hot conditions will prevail in all areas of the Kingdom, while wind will be northeasterly to northwesterly moderate.

Weather in the next two days will be dry and hot and wind will be northwesterly moderate in all areas of the Kingdom, the report added.

Temperatures for today will reach a high of 39 degrees Celsius in Amman, dropping to 21 at night. In northern areas, they will range between a high of 36 and a low of 20. In southern areas, they will range between a high of 35 and a low of 18. In Aqaba, maximum temperature will hit 42 degrees Celsius, dropping to 29 at night.
