Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, IFAD Discuss Cooperation

Riyadh, Dhu-AlHijjah 16, 1438, Sep 7, 2017, SPA -- The President of International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) Gilbert F. Houngbo has received in the Italian capital Rome the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation from the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture led by the Ministry's Undersecretary for Agriculture Affairs Engr. Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Ayadah, currently on a visit to Italy.
During the meeting, Houngbo praised the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the establishment of IFAD more than 40 years ago, noting that the Kingdom is still one of the first countries in the world to support the Fund and contribute to its budget.
He also confirmed IFAD's keenness on enhancing cooperation with the Kingdom.
