Temperatures to drop in Kuwait: Met center


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Sept 7, (KUNA): Temperatures are expected to become moderate in the upcoming days, affected by the decrease of the Indian seasonal low pressure, said Kuwait Meteorological Center.

The low pressure will begin to decrease allowing improvement in weather conditions including a drop in humidity rate over the weekend in Kuwait, official at the center Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi told KUNA on Thursday.

The highest temperature reached 43 degrees Celsius Thursday morning, while humidity will gradually decrease by night with southwestern winds turning into light to moderate northwestern at a speed of 12 to 30 kilometers per hours (kph). The lowest temperature will be between 28-30 degrees Celsius. The sea will witness light to moderate waves between one and four feet, he said.

On Friday, weather will be hot with northwestern to northern light to moderate winds at 12-38 kph. The highest temperature would be between 44-46 degrees Celsius with light to moderate sea waves between two to five feet.
