Turkish forces kill 2 PKK members southeast of Turkey


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ISTANBUL, Sept 5 (KUNA) -- Turkish security forces killed on Tuesday two members of the Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) who were preparing to carry out a terrorist attack in the Province of Chanak, southeast of the country, said the Turkish army. A statement reported that the operation, which lasted for four hours, resulted also in the confiscation of sniper rifles, grenades, and documents belonging to the terrorist cell.
