Saudi- Official statistics on the arrival of external pilgrims issued

Mina, outskirts of Makkah, Dhu-Al-Hijjah 08, 1438 H., August 30, 2017, SPA -- As many as 1752014 pilgrims from 168 nationalities have safely arrived through the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's skies, land and sea to perform this year's Hajj, official statistics say.
In a statement, the immigration department said today that male pilgrims amounted to 940369 representing %54 out of the incoming influx of pilgrims while females stood at 811645 representing %46.
According to the report, 1648332 pilgrims came by air, 88855 by land and 14827 by sea.
