According to a statement by the ACI, Jordan's exports to Romania last year stood at only $6 million while imports from the East European nation amounted to $590 million.

Members of the ACI board who attended the meeting, said that ACI is examining the possibility of organizing a visit for a Jordanian economic delegation to Romania during which an industrial fair will be held in the capital Bucharest to promote Jordanian industrial products.

They said the ACI was prepared to host Romanian trade delegations to acquaint them with Jordanian industrial products.

The ambassador voiced his country's desire to enhance economic cooperation with Jordan, and remove obstacles facing that, especially entry visas to businessmen and industrialists.
