Oman- SQHCCS holds 8th Education Forum for teaching staff

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The eight Education Forum for Teaching Staff 2017 under the theme 'Reality and Aspiration concluded last week. Organised by the Sultan Qaboos Higher Center for Culture and Science (SQHCCS), the forum was held at the Lecture Hall of Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in Bausher.

The three-day forum covered a number of themes, such as the aims of the educational philosophy in the sultanate, which have been approved by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, as well as the new methods in managing educational work.

Speakers also reviewed the experience of the Ministry of Education in this field. Teachers were also trained on how to use the education portal. They also highlighted the media's role in highlighting educational work.

The forum saw presentation of a number of papers on the philosophy of education in the sultanate, education indicator system, education portal, emotional intelligence and developing sound skills in reciting Q'uran.
