PESHAWAR, August 25: Member Provincial Assembly Ziaullah Afridi on Friday submitted a reference against Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and other leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf at the assembly's secretariat.

Afridi adopted in the reference that PTI leader Asad Umer and Energy department former chief Akbar Ayub were involved in corruption and favouritism. He claimed that the chief minister on request of Asad Umer appointed Ayub to appoint him that was tantamount to misuse of authority. He demanded of action against them.
