President congratulates Ukrainians on Independence Day
(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has congratulated the Ukrainian people on Independence Day.
He posted the congratulations on Facebook and Twitter.
"Congratulations on Independence Day, Ukraine!" reads the post.
The head of state and his wife, Maryna, also attended a festive prayer for Ukraine at the St. Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv.
"Together with Maryna, we pray for our state and ask for God's protection and blessings to its defenders," Poroshenko wrote on Twitter.
