(MENAFN) Ford Motor revealed that it is studying plans to approve a joint venture amid Chinese firm Anhui Zotye Automobile Co in order to launch electric passenger vehicles in China under a new brand.
In addition, China is insistently improving plug-in vehicles and it is spending tens of billions in research funding as well as subsidies.
On the other hand, Tesla, Daimler AG and General Motors have already uncovered their strategies to generate electric vehicles in China.
The U.S. Company announced that it has inked a memorandum of understanding with Zotye Auto on the construction of a modern brand under which the electric vehicles will be sold.
