Saudi Grains Organization to import 490,000 tons of wheat

Riyadh, Dhu-AlQa'dah 29, 1438, August 21, 2017, SPA -- The Saudi Grains Organization has awarded the third batch of imported solid wheat for the year 2017 AD amounting to 490,000 tons from European, North and South American and Australian origins to be supplied during "October-December 2017" on board 8 ships through Jeddah Islamic Port and King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam.
The Organization's Governor Engineer Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Faris pointed out that the Organization along with this batch has already contracted to import two batches of wheat amounting to two million tons for this year.
