Belt and Road countries see record Chinese M&A deals

The total value of Chinese overseas M & A deals in Belt and Road countries so far this year has already exceeded the full-year number from last year, the Asset.
The US$33.3 billion worth of acquisitions year-to-date compares to only US$30.7 billion for all of 2016. The jump comes despite a 41% drop in overall outbound deals.
