Unemployment rate in Jordan grows by 15.3pct
(MENAFN) The unemployment rate last year grew by 1.6 percent, reaching 15.3 percent, compared to 13.7 percent in 200, as proclaimed the Department of Statistics.
Furthermore, unemployment amid males last year reached 13.3 percent, up by 1 percent from the 12.3 percent rate in 2000.
On the other hand, female unemployment grew by 3.1 percent, from 21 to 24.1 percent, between 2000 and 2016.
