Jordan- FM, Japanese counterpart discuss ties in phone call
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Aug. 14 (Petra) -- Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi, and his Japanese counterpart, Taro Kono, Monday, discussed bilateral ties and ways to further cement them in various domains as well as regional issues.
During a phone call, Safadi congratulated Kono on assuming the office of Japan's foreign minister.
both officials stressed keenness to work on developing bilateral cooperation.
Japan's minister hailed the role which the Kingdom plays, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, to promote regional peace and security.
