Kuwait- Woman commits suicide

(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Aug 12: An unknown woman, believed to be an Asian expatriate, committed suicide by hanging herself with a rope tied to a tree in a garden in Farwaniya area, reports Al- Anba daily. An Egyptian man had called the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior to report about the dead body of woman dangling from a tree in the garden. Securitymen rushed to the location and referred the corpse to the Forensics Department. They have launched investigations to identify the woman, as she did not have any identification documents on her.

Boy dies in accident: A 12-yearold boy died while seven members of his family have been admitted in the intensive care units of two hospitals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in critical conditions following a horrific traffic accident that occurred while they were on their way to perform Omra, reports Al-Rai daily.

The vehicle had overturned and the seven injured persons were taken to the hospitals using air ambulances. Meanwhile, an 18-year old Kuwaiti boy died instantly when he was run over by a car driven by a woman while he was replacing a flat tire alongside the Sixth Ring Road, reports Al-Anba daily.

The corpse of the boy has been referred to the Forensics Department while the female driver was taken to the nearest hospital for the injuries she sustained. In another unrelated incident, a Kuwaiti youth died in a traffic accident on Sixth Ring Road after he crashed his vehicle into a cleaning truck.
