"We believe that public sector entities in Sharjah and the UAE will benefit immensely from our strategic partnership with the TRA, which will be a bridge between them and the latest, most secure digital technologies in the market, adopting which will elevate overall business realities in UAE," Sheikh Khalid added.

Al Mansoori said that signing this MoU is a significant step forward for the TRA, which has been working towards developing services at the federal level, bringing them closer to their goal of complete digital transformation in delivering services, and establishing an integrated network that will connect all receiving entities with a unified core database across the UAE.

"For years, the UAE has been undergoing a remarkable revolution in digital technology. What this means for us is that we have had to keep up the pace by stepping up efforts to ensure a performance that allows all government entities to be part of the new digital revolution. Once we achieve what we are aiming for, UAE's residents of all nationalities will be empowered to conduct their administrative functions at the highest level of security," he continued.
