(MENAFN) The city of Ouarzazate has posted a 118 percent increase in foreign tourists in the Jan-June period of this year, as exposed a press by the desert city's Provincial Tourism Council.
Moreover, the increase was underpinned by the jump of French tourists, numbering 17.174, who visited the city in the cited period of the year.
In addition, Japanese vacationers in the kingdom grew by 70 percent, increasing from 4.943 tourists in the cited period of last year to 8.379 this year.
