Audi to be part German diesel investigation by prosecutors
(MENAFN) Volkswagen AG's Audi was made a party in the diesel-emission probe by Munich prosecutors, which might affect the company's profits made from selling vehicles with fault engines.
Investigations of Audi employees for fraud had added the carmaker to a related inquiry whether executives neglected their duties allowing the cheating to happen.
According to a spokeswoman for the investigators, the review will be under administrative rules which allow sanctioning wrongdoing at companies.
