S. Korea's GDP per capita to grow in 2018
(MENAFN) S. Korean government had released its forecasts for 2018, estimating that gross domestic product (GDP) per person will grow higher than Italy.
The forecasts showed GDP slightly more than USD30,000 and over that posted for the European country, while S. Korea was ranked 29th worldwide, Italy is standing at 27th.
However, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) had released the ranking, that includes 190 countries, as S. Korean GDP is at USD27,633, and Italy's GDP reached USD30,294.
Reports also showed that the country's GDP per person is affected by economic growth, while fluctuations in foreign exchange rates and population trends can add detract from overall numbers.
