Jordan- Regent visits tomb of late King Abdullah I

Amman, July 20 (Petra)-- His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein, the Regent, on Thursday, visited the tomb of King Abdullah I marking the 66th anniversary of his death, and recited versus from the Koran and laid a wreath on the tomb.

A number of Royal family members also visited the tomb where they laid wreaths and recited verses from the holy Quran.

Also visiting the tomb were the prime minister and Cabinet members, acting Senate president and members, the Lower House speaker and members, the president of the Judicial Council and members, the president of the Constitutional Court and members, the Chairman of the Independent Elections Commission and members, the chief justice, the grand mufti of Jordan, Royal Court officials and other senior civil and military officials.
