KACST Successfully Converts Manned Aircraft into Drone 2 Riyadh

Prince Dr. Turki bin Saud bin Mohammed, the KACST President also said that this type of drones is part of KACST's projects in both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's National Transformation Program 2020 and Vision 2030.
He further said that the formation of drones that perform joint missions has important advantages, which can be used as an air station to transfer a high amount of information among aircraft to the ground operations room to cover large distances and they are equipped with day and night high-resolution cameras and can also carry different loads and work by satellites.
He concluded that the test of the drone squadron can be utilized in the military field and it allows operational flexibility and operations so that a drone can conduct aerial photography while a second drone can use jamming while a third one can carry out tactical missions.
