Amman, Shawwal 22, 1438, Jul 16, 2017, SPA -- Jordanian Border Guards at the Northern Military Zone late Saturday foiled an infiltration attempt by a number of persons into Jordan from Syria, a military source at the General Headquarters of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army said Sunday.
The source explained that the army personnel applied the rule of engagement taken in such cases, forcing the inflators to retreated to the Syrian front.
The source added that after searching the area, the army personnel seized around 12 bags includes 3,031,000 Captagon pills, adding that the seized items were referred to relevant authorities, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported.
