(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, July 12 (Petra) - Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday stormed the Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque in Qalqilya city in the West Bank, accompanied by an archaeologist who photographed the mosque for the second time in a week.
Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs of Palestine Palestinian Minister of Awqaf (The Islamic endowment), Yousif Ideis, condemned the incursion, noting that there are no safe place for worshipper in Palestine due to Israeli attacks and violations.
Ideis stressed that all Islamic sanctities are exclusive to Muslims, adding that Palestinians will confront all Israeli violations against their holy shrines.
The minister reiterate that the Palestinians must not be left alone to face such crimes, calling on the Arab and Muslim world to support them against such attacks.
