Kuwait oil price up by USD 1.83 to USD 46.10 pb

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, July 4 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil went up by USD 1.83 to USD 46.10 per barrel Monday compared to USD 44.27 pb last Friday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Tuesday.

At the global scale, the price went up due to indications regarding the decrease in US oil production. However, gains might be restricted due to news on OPEC intentions to increase production.

The price of the Brent crude went up by 91 cents to USD 49.68 per barrel, the same case with the American light crude, which went up by USD 1.03 to USD 47.07 pb. (end) osj.gta
