(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Three Omanis have started a mobile car wash service in Amerat which can be availed at a place of your choosing - home or office.

Speaking to Muscat Daily, Sultan al Mashari, 21 and head of the team said, 'After getting Diploma in General Education, I did not look for a job. I thought of doing something on my own.

'My brother Ahmed al Mashari who too is a Diploma in General Education holder and my cousin Dawood al Mashari, 25, a graduate of the Higher College of Technology thought on the same lines. We were looking for some ideas when we read on a website about some European youths starting a mobile car wash service.'

After talking to some experts about the cost of the project, they pooled in RO8,000 to start the service called Al Mashri Ideal Projects in Amerat three months ago. 'It's a minivan which has been customised to carry car wash equipment and a power generator. We charge RO2.5 for cleaning a saloon car and RO3.5 for a 4WD. We work every day from 4pm to 10pm except on Fridays.'

Sultan said that the team is keen to obtain a permit from Amerat Municipality to expand its service. 'We want to expand our service in other parts of the country.'
