UAE- Uzbek President Karimov dead

Tashkent, 2nd September, 2016 (WAM) -- Uzbek President Islam Karimov has died after he suffered a stroke, it was announced here on Friday. He was 78.
The government and the parliament announced that the funeral would be held on Saturday in Samarkand, his birthplace.
