Kuwait- Blasts kill six people, wound 54 in SE Turkey


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ANKARA, Aug 10 (KUNA) -- Six people were killed and 54 others wounded in two separate blast in southeastern Turkey on Wednesday, media reports said.

A car bomb exploded as a Police patrol vehicle was passing in Kiziltepe, governorate of Mardin, killing two people and injuring 50 others, CNN Turk said.

Meanwhile, a blast targeting a police vehicle in Sur, Diyarbakir, left four people killed and four security members wounded, according to Doughan news agency. Earlier today, nine soldiers were killed in two attacks carried out by the Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) in the city of Sirnak, close to the borders with Iraq. (pickup previous) rs.msa
