
Petrol prices to go up marginally in August
DOHA: Petrol prices will see a 5 dirhams rise in August, according to the new price list issued by the Ministry of Energy and Industry.
Both Super grade petrol and Premium petrol will go up by 5 dirhams from the July price.
Price of Premium petrol has gone up to QR1.35 per litre in August from QR1.30 in July and QR1.20 in June.
Price of Super petrol has also gone up to QR1.45 per litre from QR140 in July and QR1.30 in June.
Diesel price will stay at 1.40, same as July, as per the list published by the ministry.
The ministry has posted the August price list on its website in line with the decision to review the fuel prices every month, based on international prices.
