Saudi- Nine suspected militants killed in police operation in Bangladesh

Dhaka, Shawwal 21, 1437, Jul 26, 2016, SPA -- At least nine suspected militants in Dhaka were killed
early Tuesday in a police operation, dpa cited an official as saying.
One suspected militant was arrested and two others were injured and admitted to hospital, said Sheikh Maruf Hasan, a commissioner in the Dhaka police department.
The raid occurred in the Kallyanpur neighbourhood in the Bangladeshi capital around 1 am local time (19:00 Monday GMT) following a tip-off that suspected militants were in the area, Hasan said.
Security forces and police cordoned off a five-storey building where they launched their operation, he said.
