IOF Detain Five Palestinians from West Bank


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Jenin, July 14 (QNA) - Israeli occupation troops Thursday detained five Palestinians, including a photojournalist, from a number of West Bank districts, bringing the number to six, said locals and Palestine Prisoner";s Society.
Military vehicles stormed the northern West Bank city of Jenin, where troop leading tracking dogs stormed several houses belonging to the Abu Amira family, blowing up doors and wreaking havoc inside and detaining Ibrahim Abu Amira along with three other homeowners, the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported.
During the raid, troops battered two locals identified as Amjad and Muhammad Abu Amira. Muhammad was reportedly taken to a Jenin hospital for treatment.
Separately, IOF troops set up a checkpoint near the Yaabad village of al-Tarm, west of Jenin, detaining Shafiq Saba'na, who comes from the Jenin village of Fahma.
In Nablus district, troops detained a Palestinian photojournalist after stopping his vehicle at a military checkpoint near Sarra village, west of Nablus, according to WAFA.
In Tulkarem district, IOF forces detained a Palestinian worker on route to Israel via al-Taybeh crossing. While in Jerusalem, police detained Abdullah Alqam, an elderly, from the Jerusalem locality of Khan al-Ahmar. (QNA)
