Oman- ROP issues advisory against firecrackers

The ROP has issued an advisory against the use of firecrackers during Eid especially by children.

It said that firecrackers are not just a nuisance to others but are also hazardous to life and property.

Listing out the hazards, the statement said that firecrackers can cause serious injuries to eyes and can even lead to inhaling of poisonous gases. It has also advised parents to make children aware of the dangers involved in bursting firecrackers.
