Bombing attack kills nine worshippers in Baghdad mosque
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, June 27 (KUNA) -- At least nine worshippers were killed and over 20 others were injured in a suicide bombing attack on a mosque in Baghdad.
A police source told KUNA that the bomber blew up his explosive-laden vest inside Al-Nour Mosque in Zaydan district in Abu Ghraib neighborhood, west of the Iraqi capital, Monday evening.
The massive explosion left nine people dead on spot and over 20 others wounded, the source noted. (end) ahh.ibi
