Qatar- Chinese President Meets Russian Counterpart
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Beijing, June 25 (QNA) - Chinese President Xi Jinping met here on Saturday with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, who is visiting China.During the meeting, they discussed Syria, joint anti-terrorism efforts and North Korea''s nuclear issue.
Russia and China share similar positions in international affairs, and it is necessary for them to maintain close communication and coordination, Putin said in remarks following the meeting."As strategic coordination partner, Russia stands ready to extend mutual support and understanding on issues concerning each others'' core interests and major concerns," he added.
