UAE- Minister of State of Defence receives Ambassador of Kazakhstan

ABU DHABI, 20th June, 2016 (WAM) -- Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi Al Falasi, Minister of State of Defence, today received Kairat Lama Sharif, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the country, in his office at the ministry''s headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, Mohammed Al Falasi welcomed the Kazakhstani Ambassador and praised the relations of cooperation between the UAE and Kazakhstan, which are witnessing progress in various fields.

The two sides discussed several issues of common interest between the two friendly countries and ways of enhancing them, particularly bilateral cooperation in the military and defence fields.

The meeting was attended by a number of senior defence officials.
