Qatar- King of Jordan Meets Iraqi FM
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Amman, June 06 (QNA) - King Abdullah II of Jordan on Monday met with the Foreign Minister of Iraq Ibrahim Al Jaafari, who carried a message from Iraq's Prime Minister Haidar Al Abadi dealing with ways to strengthen relations between the two countries, in addition to the latest developments in Iraq.
According to Jordan's (Petra) news agency King Abdullah stressed Jordan's keenness to cement relations with Iraq, and support its security and stability.
He underlined the Jordan's support to Iraq's efforts in countering extremists groups, commending the Iraqi Army's efforts in fighting ISIS Group.
The meeting also dealt with regional developments and ways to address them, to preserve the security and stability of the Middle East and their peoples. (QNA)
