Addressing the audience, Saudi Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Ghussabi, said that the intra-regional trade among Islamic countries reached US$878 billion over the past year, a figure which is hoped will double over the next few years to reflect the depth of Islamic relations.

The OIC Trade Fair, held every two years, aims to introduce the products and services of OIC member states to raise the level of trade, promote two-way investments and open new markets for the products of participating countries.
