Abu Dhabi to host Arab meeting on meteorology on Thursday
ABU DHABI, 11th May, 2016 (WAM) Abu Dhabi will on Thursday host a meeting of the Council of Arab Ministers concerned with meteorology, on the sidelines of the meetings of the Standing Committee for Meteorology in the Arab League.
The convention of the council's meeting would be a step towards adoption of a legislation to unify the methodology of work in Arab meteorological facilities. The council can allocate financial resources to set up joint Arab projects to address the challenges facing meteorology and climate facilities.
Members of the Standing Committee for Meteorology of the Arab League today visited Al Yah Satellite Communications Company (Yahsat) to get acquainted with the Yahsat Satellite and services it could offer to help the Arab meteorological facilities.
