U.S., Allies Conduct 14 Airstrikes in Iraq, Syria

Washington, Sha'ban 4, 1437, May 11, 2016, SPA -- The U.S.-led coalition battling Daesh conducted 14 airstrikes against the terrorist group in Iraq and Syria Tuesday, the Combined Joint Task Force said Wednesday.
In Iraq, the task force said, in a statement, nine strikes near seven cities hit two units of Daesh fighters, a weapons cache, and several pieces of equipment, among other targets. One strike near Ar Rutbah was inconclusive.
Five strikes near three Syrian cities hit five of the militants' tactical units, three fighting positions, and two vehicles, the statement said.
