Abdullah bin Zayed inaugurates new UAE Embassy headquarters in Nepal
KATMANDU 11th May 2016 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has inaugurated the new UAE Embassy building in Nepal in the presence of Nepalese Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa.
During the event Sheikh Abdullah raised the UAE flag outside the building and unveiled a commemorative plaque to mark the opening of the new building.
The minister then toured the building where he was briefed on the different embassy departments.
The opening ceremony was attended by Saeed Hamdan Al Naqbi UAE Ambassador to Nepal the ambassadors of Saudi Arabia Qatar and Egypt in Nepal and a number of local officials.
