Qatar win West Asian junior table tennis chionship

Amman: The Qatari Table Tennis team claimed the title of the 2016 West Asian Junior Table Tennis Championship concluded in Amman Jordan on Saturday.

The event featured the participation of four teams including Qatar Saudi Arabia Palestine and hosts Jordan.

In the final match Qatar defeated Saudi Arabia 3-2 to claim the title and qualify to Asian Junior Table Tennis Championship to be staged in Bangkok Thailand in September.

Khalil Al Mohannadi President of the Qatar Table Tennis Association congratulated the players on winning the title.

Al Mohannadi stressed that the Qatari squad includes Mohammad Abdulwahab and Abdulrahman Al Najjaer in addition to three other players under 15 years.
