Jordan, Palestine sign cultural cooperation program
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah April 5 (Petra)--Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Al Hamdallah on Thursday discussed with Culture Minister Lana Mamkigh means to boost cooperation and coordination between the two countries in the cultural field.
During the meeting which was held in the West Bank city of Ramallah and attended by Palestinian Culture Minister Ehab Bsiso and Jordan's Ambassador to Palestine Khaled Shawabkeh Al Hamdallah highlighted the strong ties between the two countries as well as Jordan's continued support to the Palestinians.
He also praised the role of his majesty King Abdullah II and the government in defending the holy sites in Jerusalem mainly the Al Aqsa Mosque.
Both Mamkegh and Bsiso signed in the presence of the Palestinian prime minister an executive program for cultural cooperation between the Jordan and Palestine for the years 2016-2019.
