Beijing Rajab 27 1437 May 4 2016 SPA -- Six miners trapped in a coal mine after a blast in south-west China's Yunnan province were confirmed dead dpa cited local officials as reporting Wednesday.
The explosion in Shaba Coal Mine occurred Wednesday morning in Yanjin County local officials said according to the official Xinhua news agency. It was not clear how many people were injured or trapped. Authorities were investigating the cause of the accident Xinhua said.
