Rihanna to perform in Abu Dhabi

Doha: Rihanna is performing in Abu Dhabi later this year. Her act will be part of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in November.

Her show will be part of the Yasalam After-Race Concerts at Yas Island’s du Arena during the Formula One weekend. Rihanna is playing the final race-day concert on Sunday November 27.

The Chemical Brothers an English electronic music band composed of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons originating in Manchester in 1989 will perform on Friday November 25.

According to The National report promoters Flash Entertainment will announce a headliner for Saturday November 26 before Ramadan begins.

In a bid to stir up early sales fans who buy tickets before May 30 will receive a 30 per cent discount.

“Every year the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix gets bigger and bigger" the paper quoted Nick McElwee sales and marketing director at Yas Marina Circuit. “We’re trying to reward fans’s loyalty by announcing the artists now — laying it out there to make it clear what they can expect."

All weekend-ticket holders will receive free entry to nearby Ferrari World and Yas Waterworld.

The Yasalam After-Race Concerts are only open to race-day ticket holders.
